Syed Munawir is a Malaysian filmmaker. He is selected to be a part of Film Talent Academy – Short Film LAB 2025–2026 – an international program in collaboration with Festival de Cannes – SFC Rendez-vous Industry. He is currently developing his third short film in Malay language called "A Gift of Love".
