In the immediate future, the boundaries between reality and virtuality will be blurred; crossing the screen could mean falling prey to a monster. Or, as it was presented in 1984: “A girl, a boy, desolate spaces, Magritte, King Kong. It could happen to you tomorrow. Subtle New York touches in the look. This girl is… Pure Poison!” A nightmare about the loneliness of everyday life in the cyberworld.
