Elena faces a crisis as she grapples with an unplanned pregnancy. Seeking guidance, she visits Hipocampo Video, a company that collects memories and transfers them to DVD for public rental. Through her late mother's memories, Elena discovers different stages of her life and understands that being a mother and daughter is a cyclical experience. She realizes that her mother was also once young and insecure, just like her. This journey ultimately helps Elena decide whether or not to keep her child.
