Itaúnas: Ecological Disaster (1979)

Irrational deforestation in Itaúnas (northern Espírito Santo, Brazil) makes the village vulnerable to sand blown by the intense winds. In 1968, the region becomes uninhabitable, producing a living example of ecological disaster.
