The film is set in a dystopian, bleak world of rusty metal and tells the story of a lonely old robot heading toward an unknown destination. Pursued by an all-consuming red fog, he climbs a huge mountain to protect his precious cargo. Faced with an insurmountable obstacle and the danger rapidly closing in on him, he must make a decision to ensure his survival.
